Race With Wiggler, Kamek and Petey Piranha In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass This Summer

Can you imagine if Nintendo did not reject the idea of a Super Mario comic book series by Archie Comics back in 2019 [36]? Nonetheless, let us be grateful for new titles and DLC that will definitely be released soon [25] [27]. Over a week before the release of four new pastel colours for Joy-Cons [24] [26], various trailers for imminent titles and other announcements wowed gamers, especially Nintendo nerds and Poké players during this Summer’s Nintendo Direct, which is the second Nintendo Direct of 2023 [25] [27] [52] [53]. Aside from the confirmations of a remake of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Detective Pikachu Returns, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Persona 5 Tactica and WarioWare: Move It! being marketed this Autumn [25] [27] [41] [42], it has been revealed that there will be THREE new racers for the fifth wave of DLC as part of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass later this Summer [25] [27] [39]. As fans of Rainbow High are hyped for Rainbow High: Runway Rush and Bratz fans are starstruck at a new collaboration with Krash Komestics and the second wave of Mini Bratz [3] [4], let us speed up with the full potential of the fifth wave of DLC for a deluxe port of Mario Kart 8 [16] [17] [25] [27]. 

I may have been distressed by a new wave of YouTube accounts impersonating and misrepresenting me beyond my creepypasta days [35] [49] [50], but I am delighted to express my thoughts on the next wave of DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe whilst I am also excited for other forthcoming experiences [25] [27]. [25] [27]

Let us start with the new course for either the Feather Cup or Cherry Cup revealed in the trailer [25] [27]. Squeaky Clean Sprint is set in a giant bathroom. Thank goodness there is no Great Mighty Poo in the toilet [14]! Previously, the other three courses besides Yoshi’s Island in the Fruit Cup turned out to be remasters of:

•      Riverside Park from Mario Kart: Super Circuit [39]

•      Amsterdam Drift from Mario Kart Tour [20] [39]

•      DK Summit from Mario Kart Wii [39]

The courses in the Boomerang Cup are incarnations of:

•      Waluigi Stadium from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! [18] [39]

•      Singapore Speedy from Mario Kart Tour [20] [39]

•      Mario Circuit from Mario Kart DS [19] [39]

•      Bangkok Rush from Mario Kart Tour [20] [39]

As hygienic the race through Squeaky Clean Sprint seems, which is what I ought to know about as a part-time cleaner on weekends, who knows what other remakes of circuits from the other Mario Kart titles will be included in the Feather Cup and the Cherry Cup [39]? Could a brand new course for either the Acorn Cup or Spiny Cup be based on Inkpolis in Splatoon 3 or the open wilderness from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in the sixth and final wave later this year [52] [53]? There will be some more predictions for that later.

Let us hope that Squeaky Clean Sprint will not be too slippery to race on! [25] [27]

Princess Peach in her ice wedding dress is Nintendo and Illumination’s answer to Disney’s Elsa the Snow Queen and I cannot wait for a new adventure starring her that could be a new origin story or a sequel to Super Princess Peach taking a different direction in 2024 [6] [7] [25] [27] [45]. But what about the new playable characters for the fifth wave of the Booster Course Pass [25] [27]? Firstly, Petey Piranha is yet to return to the Mario Kart series after his co-dependant debut as a racer in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! [18]. Secondly, Wiggler, who was previously a racer in Mario Kart 7 looks determined to not get squished with his comeback alongside Petey [15] [25] [27]. And last, but not least, Kamek is sure to cast a spell of determination to win outside of Mario Kart Tour [20]. Aside from Kamek turning a race erratic [21], Wiggler often losing his temper and Petey Piranha driving solo later this Summer [25] [27], Detective Pikachu still needs his precious caffeine for a new case to solve, Mallow and Geno look refreshed in their new looks for Super Mario RPG and seeing Mario as an elephant in the trailer for Super Mario Bros. Wonder is rather bewildering [25] [27] [41] [42].

And here is Kamek with a red mushroom! But like I said, let us hope the brand new track will not be too slippery! [25] [27]

Any ideas on what the sixth wave could ring our Mario Kart racers? Like I have hoped for as we analysed the trailer of content from the fourth wave back in March [52] [53], Pauline could be one of the last two racers [20] [40]. I still believe Honey Queen deserves a second chance, resulting in the return of the purple Peach Parasol from Mario Kart 7 [15] [52] [53]. Alternatively, part of me would not be surprised if the last two racers for the sixth wave will be Diddy Kong and Funky Kong, considering how iconic the Donkey Kong Country series is [51]. As previously mentioned, there could be a racing track adaption of Inkpolis from the Splatoon trilogy [52] [53]. Or better yet, another new track in the Super Mario universe that could be based on a location that has not been mentioned for years, such as the Star Carnival from Mario Party 8 [21]. Whether Pauline and Honey Queen will be the last two downloadable racers or not [52] [53], let us keep showing respect for female gamers who have been harassed online [30], yet raise awareness of male gamers being harassed too without any form of aggression as both Princess Peach AND Princess Daisy will be playable alongside Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder this October [25] [27] [46].

Pauline is still our 1-up girl [23]! I wonder if she will be in a stunning new outfit in a future tour in Mario Kart Tour [20] [40]. [40]

Honey Queen can always be a new racer in a future tour in Mario Kart Tour, considering the existence of this badge featuring her emblem from Mario Kart 7 [15] [20]. [37]

Aside from Petey, Wiggler and Kamek becoming new members of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxeroster very soon [25] [27] [39], I do not doubt how elevating Super Mario Bros. Wonder seems with new powerups throughout a new adventure and an eye-catching new art style [25] [27]. And who knows when some unforgettable new adventures will begin in Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios in Orlando, the place I fondly remember being at when I was a preteen [43]? I also believe there could be a sequel to Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time that could be the “real Crash Bandicoot 5” instead of Crash Twinsanity with the visually less favourable version of Crash from Crash of the Titans and Crash Mind Over Mutant being another supporting character from another alternate universe within some possible redemption [2] [5] [47]. Speaking of redemption, the delayed eighth episode of the first season of Helluva Boss can finally be legally released very soon [1] [12] [13], much to my sinful delight [11]. Before Super Mario Bros. Wonder brings back the modern side-scrolling pizazz that began with New Super Mario Bros. back in 2006 [22] [25] [27], have fun with the fifth wave later this Summer, Mario Kart racers [39]! And Happy 40th Anniversary to Mario Bros. [38]! 

I simply cannot recommend The Super Mario Bros. Movie to fans of the Super Mario franchise enough [45]! It deserves a sequel, that is for sure [51]! In the meantime, a nostalgically new chapter of Smosh begins after Anthony Padilla’s return [31] [34]. Remember the rejected Mario games that were “discovered” over a decade ago [32], along with the rejected Zelda games [33]? [44]

Stay as sweet as Princess Peach-themed cupcakes from Universal Studios Hollywood, Nintendo nerds [28]! I wonder if the toppings for her next recipe for Mario will be white strawberries for a slight change [10]. [28]
