A Battle Royale Of The Fortnitemares In 2023

You can be enchanted by the cuteness of the forthcoming debut of the seventh generation of the Littlest Pet Shop franchise on Roblox this December and the wave of Animal Crossing LEGO minifigures in Spring 2024 all you want [17] [18] [19], but there are no sparkles of light without the shadows of dark as our Fortnite fighters are in for a fright in a storm of Fortnitemares in the V26.30 update for Fortnite: Battle Royale this month [10] [12] [29]. The previous Fortnitemares include the rise of the shadows before J Balvin’s Afterlife Party in 2020 [8], Ariana Grande in her galactic armour in 2021 during the wrath of the Cube Queen and a rave at the Reality Tree with DJ Lyka in 2022 [9] [26]. A variety of weapons for battlers this year include the Pumpkin Launcher and Thorne’s Vampiric Blade and there are quests to complete to earn XP and some other rewards as treats for doing the tricks right [12] [29]. Feel free to stick to the wholesome adventure in A Tiny Sticker Tale or tune into the fifth episode of TailsTube if you feel too jittery for the spooks [24] [28]. Otherwise, remain cautious as we list the crossover horrors of this year’s Fortnitemares [10]! 
While not as disturbing (with reader discretion required) as the thirteenth episode of Salad Fingers [33] [34], things in this year’s Fortnitemares are certainly not as wholesome as Stolas of the Ars Goetia taking his owlet to the cosmos [13] [20], but they can possibly be as amusing as him being told off for eating the moon and reminded to not destroy any more planets by her [5] [27]. [12]
While a certain “o” is silent for business purposes [21] [22] [36], Fortnite fighters will certainly not be quiet during this year’s Fortnitemares [10] [12] [29]. And now, on with who will be the three musketfears! [10]
Who dares fight with the three third-party trick-or-treaters elected throughout this event? The most shocking aspect of this year’s Fortnitemares to me is the appearance of Michael Myers, the iconic antagonist of the Halloween franchise [10] [12] [14] [15] [16] [29]. The stern look of his mask, especially those soulless pitch-black eyes could be enough to make a Fortnite fighter’s spine shiver. The most surprising aspect of the storm of chaos in the season events is the appearance of Jack Skellington [10] [12] [29], the charming protagonist of The Nightmare Before Christmas, one of the most memorable stop-motion films of all time [6]. Let us not forget about Alan Wake from the psychological horror action-adventure game series with the same name [1] [10] [12] [29]. I shall root for Mr. Wake to give it his all in each battle, from one writer who has had insufferable moments of writer’s block to another [1]. Like many of us said before, Fortnite has become too reliant on crossovers over the years with some making less sense than others [32]. Nevertheless, how this year’s Fortnitemares features three characters from different types of dark media with elements of horror makes it an ambitious crossover that beneficially appeals to Fortnite fighters with different tastes in horror [10] [12] [29]. 
And the Halloween theme tune must be stuck back in your head, poor unfortunate reader [14] [15] [16] [30]. And speaking of music… [12]

Kill and build in Fortnitemares [6]! [12]
In a cold-blooded conclusion, Michael Myers, Jack Skellington and Alan Wake are sure to make this year’s Fortnitemares a triple crossover haunt the dreams of Fortnite fighters before the 3rd of November [10] [12] [29]. Whether you consider yourself lucky on a Friday the 13thor not [33] [34], you may recall a parody of Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise known as “Kyle the 13th” in the Fortnitemares of 2017 and 2018 [4] [11]. Would you consider yourself lucky enough to survive this year’s Fortnitemares [10], just like how you survived the others [8] [9] [26]? Outside of the Fortnitemares, some more terrors await you…shortly, including the update and remake of Slender: The Arrival celebrating its tenth anniversary [2] [35]. Speaking of anniversary, let us salute the soldiers in the Call Of Duty fanbase celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the series [3]. As for Fortnite, some of its crossovers may have made less sense than others [32], but there is still potential for future collaborations to be faithful and vital without seeming so forced. You can treat yourself with some candy, including jellybeans, candy corn and pepper mints during your constructions and slaughters [12] [29], but beware of the tricks of Jason, Jack, and Alan [10] [12] [29]. Have a Happy Halloween, Fortnite fighters!
