Moves To Be Made In The Sims 4 This Summer Of Love

How are you?” [34]. 2024 marks the 20^th anniversary of The Sims 2 and the 10^thanniversary of The Sims 4 [6] [8]. Previously, there was a “Sensation” season that resulted in a stuff pack, four differently themed kits and an SDX drop from January to April alongside the celebration of the series’ 24^th anniversary that might as well continue throughout the rest of the year [20] [26] [27] [28] [33]. The Sims 4 just keeps getting more and more ambitious as new surprises await my fellow simmers from May to August [29] [31]. Moreover, the newly announced season is referred to as a “love” season, which makes many fellow simmers and I suspect that there is a romantic theme the surprises have been following during their developments. This could be quite a sensation for you if you feel like you have the Romance Aspiration from The Sims 2 [1] [6]. After the unforgettable encounters of the northern lights that starstruck the world (except for Seymour Skinner’s kitchen) for three nights in a row [15] [18] [21] [36], let us gussy up for what will bloom throughout the season of love during the tenth year of the Sims 4 era [29] [31]. 

I have been a simmer ever since my grandfather introduced me to The Sims 2 [6] [37]. It is interesting to see how far the series has come since the first game that was launched back in 2000 [37]. Its 24th anniversary shall progress with a season of love as Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary continues to bloom with a new café in Vancouver [12] [13] [27] [28]. [31]

First of all, two free updates will be available for the game [29] [31]. According to the trailer, they are likely to include new outfits, hairstyles, and accessories in Create-A-Sim. But of course, it would technically be more important to bust any detected bugs when it comes to updates. Secondly, two new destination kits are confirmed, making me believe that they will be build kits inspired by many aspects of a city that is considered a romantic place for couples, such as Paris and Venice [10]. Lastly, an expansion pack is yet to be the newest one for The Sims 4 and by its brief description in the trailer, it may be focused on romance and could feature some new aspects of dating [29] [31], such as online dating on a dating website and on an app inspired by Tinder, quite like how there was a parody of the popular dating app in Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry called “Timber” [2] [17] [25]. Moreover, it is likely that the expansion pack will feature a new way to woohoo (that will hopefully not be boring, unlike like a blog of pixels covering two lovers just embracing one another in The Sims FreePlay [5]) [29] [31]. It is important for an announcement trailer like this to not be misleading, so let us stand by our predictions in preparation for being either pleasantly surprised or slightly disappointed.

I do not doubt that some of my fellow simmers are most excited for the forthcoming expansion pack and it would make sense if it will be saved for last if you think about it [29] [31]. Hopefully, it shall not try so hard to be like The Sims 4: Wedding Stories and have its own romantic essences outside of weddings [32]. [31]

In conclusion, if you happen to be a fellow simmer who is still nurturing the worlds in The Sims 4 in your own way, what moves will you make if you are interested in the two upcoming kits and expansion pack [29] [31]? I suppose one can make a new love interest for Don Lothario while another makes Mortimer and Bella Goth passionately woohoo in a way the upcoming expansion pack could introduce, resulting in their third child [8]. What could be next when it comes to proactivity flourishing in the gaming industry, despite many misfortunes [24]? A sequel to Princess Peach: Showtime featuring new powered-up costumes for Princess Peach [39] [40], such as Rock Star Peach striking a powerful melody from an electric guitar, just like Ninja Yumi in one of those Flash games on the Cartoon Network website back in the day [11]? As much as I still endorse the Sims 2 era to this day and as blessed as I am to play The Sims 2: Super Collection on a rose gold MacBook Air for old times’ sake [1], I hold no bias against The Sims 4 and I shall look forward to what two new kits and a new expansion pack bring on [29] [31] [35]. Arogaba, which is Simlish for “Goodbye” or “Farewell” [34]! 

Happy 20^th anniversary, The Sims 2 and Happy 10^th anniversary, The Sims 4 [6] [8]! This simmer shall continue to follow her passions in writing, as well as spreading kindness [9], despite another heartbreak [4] [14] [16] [22]. For what you have lost, you can gain something else.
